Think flat.

It's one thing to develop a system. It's another to make it a product. In 2016 the system was pretty much set.
There would be a ramp for the ball the roll up and a chain net for the ball to stop even at high speeds (a.k.a. flying).
But there were many ways to combine a ramp with a net. I now had to find the right one for model one.
To make it cost efficient, I started by thinking flat and working out from there. This was also important for a second reason. The final product should be foldable and easily transportable.
Size was not yet fully defined since the balls performance would still influence the necessary target size. But it was time to test this idea.
